Thanks to CNC electronic positioning, the cutting units tilt with extreme precision and repeatability, with no limitations to predefined angles. Excellent management of out-of-square frames. Tilting range: 22.5° – 135°, with an optional minimum tilt of 15°.

The large and responsive capacitive touch screen display for industrial applications is separable from the CPU and replaceable. Optional label printer, digital caliper, and a standard intermediate support are included.

All cutting cycles are included as standard: two-blade, under-minimum, and ultra-short (down to 0mm center distance at 45°-45°), as well as over-length cycles. Incremental step-by-step cutting at all angles is standard, even for 45°-45° final pieces. Trimming and wedge-cut cycles are also included as standard.

  • High-quality Ø 500 mm blades ensure superior cutting capacity, perfect for large-scale profiles. The low-profile heads allow for a width of 215mm.

  • Wide Axis Travel. The X-axis has a useful cutting length from 500mm to 5000mm (optional 6000mm). Tilting angles range from 22.5° to 135° (optional 15° to 135°).

  • Access with multiple password levels. The operator has limited access restricted to production tasks, while the department manager has broader access privileges. The highest levels are reserved for Mecal technicians.

The SW 553 R Reverse Garda3 is a double-head mitre saw with 3 CNC axes, internal/external electronic tilting, Ø 550 mm saw blades, a 5000mm useful cutting length, and a 15” Touch Screen HMI, for precise cuts, advanced automation, and maximum production efficiency. It features a wide cutting diagram (215mm in width), thanks to the lowered heads, and extensive axis travel.
