Mechanical inclination with maximum precision

Thanks to pneumatic tilting on mechanical stops, the cutting units can tilt with precision and repeatability to the predefined angles of 22.5° – 45° – 90° – 135°. The lowered blade center (R) increases the cross-cutting capacity, allowing for the processing of large profiles with deeper, more precise cuts, enhancing productivity and finish quality.

All cutting cycles are included as standard: two-blade, under-minimum, and ultra-short (down to 0mm center distance at 45°-45°), as well as over-length cycles. Incremental step-by-step cutting at all angles is standard, even for 45°-45° final pieces. Trimming and wedge-cut cycles are also included as standard.

Effective blade cooling for extended cutting precision and tool life.

The Venturi system atomizes the lubricant directly onto the blade, reducing overheating and wear for extended tool life and superior cutting quality. A minimal oil pulse lubrication system is available as an option.

The SW 553 R Reverse Garda is a double-head mitre saw with 1 CNC axis, internal/external pneumatic tilting, Ø 550 mm saw blades, lowered heads, a 5000mm useful cutting length, and a 10” Touch Screen IPC, for precise cuts, advanced automation, and maximum production efficiency. It features a wide cutting diagram (215mm in width) and extensive axis travel.
