4-axis machining center for processing Aluminum, Light Alloys, PVC, and Steel.
Five individually motorized standard clamps for correct workpiece clamping, featuring simultaneous automatic displacement (MMI). A sixth clamp is optional. Standard supplementary pads on the moving part of the clamps allow for clamping widths up to 300 mm.
Tilting beam rotation at all intermediate angles – Double Length Cycle management. The tilting beam can be positioned at any angle within the range of -125° to +125°. The software manages the milling cycle with manual workpiece repositioning on stop 2, for lengths exceeding 8,000 mm.
10-station tool magazine located at the center of the bed, with 3-station additional magazines on both sides, for a total of 16 available tools. Management of angular heads for Y-axis cutting and end/tail machining operations.
Ability to process profiles from narrow widths up to 300 mm in Y. Optional features include a workpiece length reader, multidirectional infrared probe, tool presetter, barcode reader, and interface with external software.
The two aligners are standard and allow for the loading of either two profiles of complementary lengths or a single profile that utilizes the entire working area.
8.5 kW 24,000 rpm air-cooled electrospindle with HSK-63F tool holder, with or without encoder; 10 kW version optional.
Maximum productivity. Independent motorized clamps for extremely fast setup. Rapid movements with speeds up to 140 m/min and acceleration of 4.2 m/s² make the machining center extremely productive.
Maximum safety. Safety is guaranteed by the upward-sliding door and shatterproof shield. In the case of the Falcon Special Edition for processing full square profiles, a radar system ensures safety in the surrounding area.
3-axis interpolation. Drilling, tapping, end-milling, and milling operations can be performed with linear and circular interpolation.
Optimized scrap evacuation. Predisposition for chip and scrap collection bins, with the option to install a motorized conveyor belt for waste evacuation.
Tool lubrication and cooling. Tool cooling is handled by a minimal lubrication system (MQL) control unit. Optional tool cooling system for dry machining.
Self-lubricating linear guides. All slideways and ball screws are lubricated via an automatic centralized system. The CNC axes slide on precision guides and are driven by digital motors, ensuring stability and accuracy during machining.
Traditional Mecal Product Robustness – Technology and Innovation. Technological partners and suppliers of top-of-the-range mechanical, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components. All this, together with the high level of technology and innovation in Mecal’s in-house automation, guarantees the quality and innovation of the final product.
User-friendly software. The easy and intuitive CadCam3D software allows for rapid programming and execution. The optional Cadlink program enables the import of STEP and IGES files from 3D design software, allowing for quick workpiece execution.
Smart Factory. Interfacing with MES via various standards, including OPC UA for Industry 4.0. Optional hardware for dynamic energy monitoring for the Industry 5.0 transition. Remote component diagnostics via Mecal VPN router for optional Industrial IoT.
Mitsubishi fiber optic fieldbus. Digital technology and data transmission via fiber optics guarantee high performance with reduced interference and maximum reliability.
4-axis controlled CNC machining center dedicated to processing aluminum, light alloy, PVC, and steel profiles. The 4th axis consists of a tilting beam with a rotation capacity from –125° to +125° on the horizontal axis, positioning at any intermediate angle. The machine can therefore perform machining operations on the top and side faces of the profile at any angle within the range. It features MMI independent motorized clamps that automatically reach their final position simultaneously. —– It is equipped with a 10-station tool magazine with automatic tool change, positioned at the center of the bed, plus two optional additional magazines for a total of 16 tools, capable of housing angular units and a disc cutter for end-machining and end-milling operations. Optional angular head for Y-axis cutting and angular heads for drilling, milling, and end/tail tapping. —– It also features a function that facilitates workpiece loading/unloading. Equipped as standard with the MAM system (automatic clamp movement during machining), a feature that makes it particularly suitable for the Automotive sector. Extremely rapid positioning, with speeds up to 140 m/min. Y-axis clamping capacity up to 300 mm. —– Available in a Special Edition version for processing full square profiles, featuring a top-down sliding door and a radar safety system.
